I was trying to think of something RED or PINK to make to honor Valentine’s Day but I’m a little slow in getting the recipe out this month. I opted for a simple tomato soup recipe using the February monthly delivery specials and hopefully you will still like it even though it’s just PAST Valentine’s day now. haha! I’m going to featuring this recipe and a few other yummy soup recipes on our monthly cooking demo which is delayed by a week this month so will be held this Tuesday, February 18th at 8:30 pm EST!

Simple Tomato Soup (Meal-in-a-Jar)
Don’t forget all ingredients will be cheaper and are available for free shipping for delivery customers if your order is over $100. One pint-size jar will make 2 servings
Jar Ingredients:
- 1/4 c. Thrive Tomato Sauce
- 1/4 c. Thrive Instant Milk
- 2 T. Thrive Chopped Onions
- 1 c. Thrive Diced Tomatoes
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions:
To make jar: Add all ingredients to a pint-sized jar in order listed. Add an oxygen absorber or seal with a foodsaver jar lid attachment.
To prepare: Add 2 cups of water to a high powered blender. Pour contents of jar into blender. Blend on soup mode until warm. (If you don’t have soup mode, blend and then heat on the stove or microwave until warm)

My apologies for the previous post. I searched two different ways for tomato sauce and found nothing and immediately after I had posted my query, I searched it again and *Shazam* up tomato sauce pops. Duh.
