Thrive’s December monthly delivery specials were a bit random but I saw the sour cream and spinach and immediately thought of a yummy spinach dip mix. While my pictures didn’t turn out super pretty the end result was delicious! Spinach Dip Mix (Gift-in-a-Jar)
Don’t forget all ingredients will be cheaper and are available for free shipping for delivery customers if your order is over $100. One pint-size jar will make about 2 cups of dip.
Jar Ingredients:
- 1/8 tsp. Salt
- 1/8 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
- 1/4 tsp. Thrive Freeze-Dried Garlic
- 1 T. Ranch Dressing Seasoning Blend
- 3/4 c. Thrive Sour Cream Powder (ON SALE)
- 1/2 c. Thrive Freeze-Dried Spinach (ON SALE – in pack)
- 1/2 c. Parmesan Cheese
Directions:
To make jar: Add all ingredients to a quart-sized jar in order listed. (Wide-mouth jars are best for this recipe). Add an oxygen absorber or seal with a foodsaver jar lid attachment.
To prepare: Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Stir in 3/4 c. of boiling water until dip is smooth. Refrigerate until thickened. Serve with veggies or crackers.

You mention Parmesan cheese in the recipe. Is this fresh or freeze dried? I can’t imagine fresh would do well sitting on a shelf. Am I wrong? Is there a FD version?
