Thrive’s September monthly specials did not include meat which is usually a staple in my jar meal recipes … so I came up with a fun idea for muffin mixes that can use some of the fruits on sale! Some of the powders used in the recipe may be out of stock so feel free to stock up on the sale items now and grab the other items when they come back. Thanks to corona for causing a shortage on so many items 🙁

This may be a question that has already been asked but do you put a moisture absorber packet into the jar as well to be able to keep it from going bad faster? or do you have one of those air sealer machines to suck the air out of the jar before you store them? If not and you just twist on the lid without any of that, how long will the food in the jars last before they go bad if storing them for long term?
