With summer in the air (finally) I thought it would be fun to share something I’ve been doing with my kids as the weather has gotten warmer. My little 7 year old loves to cook with me, loves to use my blender, and loves to eat. For a few weeks he kept asking me to make smoothies daily and I thought it would be nice to have smoothies already pre-made in my freezer to give to him whenever he wanted. Well then I thought … “Why couldn’t I?”
I had picked up Popsicle molds similar to THESE at a store and had them in my cupboard. I love the idea of homemade Popsicles because you can control the ingredients, additives, sugars etc! The recipe I use is pretty simple….
