EGG NOG MIX
Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. Thrive Instant Milk (50% OFF)
1/2 c. White Sugar (or Thrive Honey Crystals)
6 T. Thrive Scrambled Egg Mix
1 tsp. Powdered Vanilla (or regular)
1/4 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
Small pinch of Ground Cloves
Directions:
Mix 4 1/2 cups water, 2 cups of ice, and remaining ingredients in a blender for 1 minute. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or whipped cream and enjoy. For a single serving drink add 1/4-1/2 cup of mix to 1 cup of water and stir well.
WASSAIL
Ingredients:
1 c. Thrive Freeze-Dried Fuji Apples, powdered
2 T. Tang Drink Mix
1/8 tsp. Ground Ginger
1/8 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
1/16 tsp. Lemonade Powder
3 T. Brown Sugar
2 Whole Cinnamon Sticks
8 Whole Cloves
1 c. Thrive Freeze-Dried Fuji Apple Slices
Directions:
In a medium stock pot combine 5 cups of water with contents of jar. Using medium low heat bring to a simmer. Simmer 30-40 minutes. Remove apples and whole cloves. Add additional brown sugar to taste if desired. Ladle into mugs and enjoy!
CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES
Ingredients:
3/4 c. Heavy Whipping Cream
10 oz pkg. White Chocolate Chips
1 oz Thrive Freeze-Dried Strawberries, powdered
10 oz Dark Chocolate Chips or Melting Chocolate
Directions:
Heat cream over medium heat in small sauce pan. Bring to a simmer. Pour over white chocolate chips in a small bowl. Stir until well-combined. Microwave if needed to get smooth. Stir in all but 1 tablespoon of powdered strawberries until well-combined. Place in the fridge for at least one hour. Scoop the truffle mixture into balls and place on wax paper. This is easiest with a meatball scoop. Feel free to stick a slice of strawberry into the middle. This filling is VERY gooey and a little hard to work with. Once you have the balls formed, put in freezer for a few hours. Melt the darker chocolate in a small bowl. Roll each of the balls into the chocolate until completely covered. Place on wax paper and top with a bit of powdered strawberry or sprinkles. Set in fridge or freezer until chocolate is hardened. ENJOY!
STRAWBERRY POPCORN
Ingredients:
1 pouch of Microwave Popcorn
1/2 c. Thrive Freeze-Dried Strawberries, powdered
handful of Freeze-Dried Strawberries
handful of Green M&Ms
1/2 c. Melting Chocolate or Chocolate Chips
Directions:
Cook popcorn according to package directions. Pour into a gallon zip-lock bag. Add the strawberry powder to the bag. Shake until the popcorn is well-coated. Pour the popcorn onto a small baking sheet or 9×13 pan. Sprinkle additional freeze-dried strawberry slices and green m&ms on top of the popcorn. Melt chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler pot on the stove. Drizzle over top of the entire popcorn tray. Allow to cool in the fridge for 1/2 hour or until the chocolate is hardened. Break apart and package in individual baggies or put into a bowl for serving.
ALMOND BARK
Ingredients:
2 c. Melting Chocolate
1/2 tsp. Coconut Oil (unless your chocolate doesn’t need it)
Almonds
Freeze Dried Berries (I recommend RED ones)
Yogurt or Coconut Bites
Directions:
Melt chocolate and coconut oil in a double boiler or in the microwave until smooth. Pour into a 9×9 pan lined with wax paper. Sprinkle almonds on top, then add whatever extras you want. I love it with strawberries, raspberries, or cranberries. Allow to cool in fridge until chocolate is hardened. Can customize with other nuts, fruits, and yogurt bites to make all kinds of varieties.
