15 Ways to Use Tomato Powder

May 6, 2014 by Jodi Weiss 9 Comments

Tomato powder is one of our all-time favorite products to keep in our home stores. It removes the necessity to store so many tomato-based products and it is so versatile. Here are some reason why we love it so much:

  • It is “pure” tomatoes, so no additives, preservatives, etc.
  • Easy to use to create lots of different tomato-based products
  • Eliminate the need to buy/store multiple products
  • Save money and eat healthier by creating ingredients from scratch

I think I’d try a small net bag of rice. The dry rice will attract any moisture in the can. You might also transfer the powder to a canning jar with a tight seal (or vacuum the lid with a foodsaver).
